11” x 17”
This project design consists of two 11” x 17” posters for high school students. The posters introduce two art movements, the Arts and Crafts Movement and Art Nouveau. These movements range from the late 19th century to the early 20th century.
As high school students are energetic, curious, and fascinated with new things, this design uses interesting human figures to catch their eye. The vivid colours of blues, yellows, and reds create high contrast and give a sense of energy to young students. Since both art movements fought against the industrial revolution and brought humanity back to society, this design uses sensual woman figures in order to represent each movement.
